About us

Artifact Home is a brainchild of Sida Phungjiam, an accomplished graphic designer, interior stylist and artist.

It started with a group of old dining chairs she found at the flea market which she re-upholstered by herself – by hand – into a happy, colorful group of dining chairs that began her lifelong quest of making everyone’s living space as beautiful as possible.

Sida founded Artifact Home with the belief that a furniture, albeit brand new, has a soul and deserves to be cherished as a piece of art. Most importantly, a high-quality, beautifully hand-made piece of furniture should not cost an arm and a leg. Great piece of furniture has power to transform a space from ordinary to extraordinary. Since 2011, Sida and her team of furniture lovers have been transforming one living space at a time.
